Gripping On

At rush hours, commuters in Lagos patronize buses like this because of it’s low transport cost. The fee that the bus operators demand of their clients are about a quarter of their competitor’s charges. The buses get pack-full with most people on board returning from work at the early hours of the evening, and some others off to work for the next shift. Standing passengers would grip tight the bar above their head and enjoy the sway, push and pull effect of the driver’s wheel turns, break slams and sudden accelerations.

Lagos traffic seems to be my biggest fancy. And with tweets from peeps like @Gidi_Traffic, talks from Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 FM, and a lot more others, I get on right tracks more often, beating the traffic. Would you mind taking a ride with a grip or two?
